Weekend Fun

We had a jam packed weekend. Our friend Aden invited us to her baby Mary's 1st Birthday party. The first birthday party is a big deal so we were honored to be included. There was food, food and more food. 2 cakes and a table full of cookies and candy. They had a jumpy house setup for the bigger kids and a nice patio set up for the adults. Lidya even ran into one of her friends from St. Leo's. Small world.


Kathryn and Layla were there too.
Then on Sunday Lidya went to dance class. She was so good. All of the older Ethiopian ladies watching were impressed and kept cheering her on saying "Gobeez Lidya, Gobeez".

Then we had a playdate with M. The girls had lunch in the playhouse and then took a spin around the block in her Mustang.





I am really having fun decorating the playhouse. More fun then I have in my real house :-). I'm almost finished with the little couch I'm making and then I'll hang the bookshelves, the pictures, Poofs and banner. And I have to say I love, love, love Ikea for cute kids stuff.
