Lidya lost her first tooth today. The tooth that she knocked loose last summer that reattached, loosened up again about a week ago. She worried and worried that tooth all week but it was hanging on. When I went to pick her up at Aunty Mia's the tooth was still just hanging there, so I tied some dental floss to it and told her to play with it and pull it out. She was too afraid that it would hurt so she just sat there whining with the string dangling. Bad idea around Aunty Mia. Aunty Mia couldn't take all the whining about the tooth and just walked by her and snatched the string and out popped the tooth.

The tooth fairy is old school around here, she got $1.00. The very same amount her big brother got back in the 80s.
