Science Cruise on The Bay

On Saturday we joined our friends M and T for a Science Institute cruise on the bay. We spent 2 hours cruising around learning about the "sea Creatures" as Lidya calls them, that live in our area. Lots of fun and lessons for all. The kids let out a fishing net then cruised around while it dragged the bay. Then they hauled it in and studied the types of creatures that got caught in the net. No Sea Creatures were harmed and they were returned to the bay at the end of the cruise. Lidya was expecting to see Dolphins, her current favorite animal, but no luck there. She really had fun learning about life in the bay.
